Strawberry Topping Recipe

Strawberry topping recipes are a cinch to make! Ice cream just tastes better with this Strawberry Topping recipe. Bring on the berries and get ready to make this simple syrup.

If ice cream isn't your thing, then try them on your favorite pancake or waffle recipe, or as a base for your favorite punch recipe. You won't be disappointed!

Strawberry Syrup Recipe


10 ounces strawberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt (a pinch)


Place the strawberries in a blender and process until smooth.

In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat and boil gently for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

Makes 1 1/2 cups of syrup.

Easy Strawberry Syrup Recipe


4 cups strawberries
1 cup water
2 cups sugar


Place the strawberries and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Press the mixture through a sieve. Take the juice and pour it back into the saucepan.

Add one cup of sugar for each cup of juice.

Bring this mixture to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar (about 2 minutes).

Skim off the foam and pour into sterilized bottles or canning jars.
