Easy New York Style Cheesecake
This easy New York Style Cheesecake will make you feel like you're in the Big Apple!
A classic New York cheescake is one that is plain and unadorned, made with pure cream cheese, cream, eggs, and sugar.
Arnold Reuben, owner of the legendary Turf Restaurant at 49th and Broadway in New York City, claimed that his family developed the first cream-cheese cake recipe. That was way back in 1929. Since then, the recipe has been altered and played around with.
So, if you're a cheesecake lover (New Yorker or not), here's our rendition of this famous classic.
And what the heck, put a bunch of strawberries on top for a festive, if unconventional, version of the old classic!
