Easy Pancake Recipe
Instructions1. Mix the milk, butter and egg in a bowl. Combine the flour, baking soda, sugar and salt and add them all at once to the first mixture. Stir until just moistened.
2. Lightly butter or grease a griddle or frying pan and set over moderate heat until a few drops of cold water sprinkled on the pan form skittering globules.
3. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter (per pancake) onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on top and the undersides are lightly browned. Turn with a spatula and brown the other side.
4. Place finished cakes on a heated plate in a very slow (200°) oven until ready to serve. Top with strawberry jam, fresh strawberries, or strawberry syrup.
